Website Redesign

I have redesigned the web site with a whole new look and some new features, built in font resizing, hiding menus and drop down navigation. It’s a bit lighter and hopefully more readable. This layout has only one column on the right side so I could better use the main content area without trying to squeezing the content in. The new layout should make navigation easier as well. Have a look around and let me know what you think by leaving a comment.

Also, a new update to the photo album coming soon.

Email Subscriptions Fixed

It seems as though I have finally fixed my email subscriptions thanks to a new version of the Subscribe2 plugin for WordPress. My hosting decided to limit the amount of addresses per email thanks to all the spammers out there, and with the new version of Subscribe2 I can specify this limit.

What does all this mean? All you email subscribers will actually receive an email when I post an update to StrykerOnline. Don’t forget you can also subscribe with your favorite RSS reader.

Website Redesigned

I guess its about time I make this official: is now powered by WordPress and you’ll notice that the site now has a blog style layout. I have stuck with the same green and black color scheme from the last redesign and reused some of previous features like the photo albums and video player. Using WordPress gives me the ability to add many new features:

  • You can now register for Registering will allow you to create a profile on and take advantage of the below features.
  • The ability to post comments.
  • Now you can receive updated content and/or comments via email.
  • RSS feeds for content and comments.
  • A “Share This” feature has been added so you can easily share content either by posting it to your favorite social site or via email.
  • Gravatars added – Your “picture” added in your comments.

Also in the works is a StrykerOnline Store.

I’ll be adding content as often as possible, whether it’s new photos, videos, mp3’s, or other miscellaneous stuff from around the interweb. So register and sign up for email or RSS updates, then have a look around and feel free to leave some comments.
